Dear friends in Christ, Greetings to YOU in the Lord. ‘Trust all is well with you. We are all fine. We’d like to update you on what is going on in our lives.

BIG CHANGES
As you may remember in our last letter, we completed our ministry in the Beaumont area of Texas rejoicing in what the Lord had accomplished. We drove away in the beautiful 7 passenger mini-van the church had bought us, and a U-haul van, to a new ministry in Houston, Texas. Our hearts were torn by leaving close Christian friends and family behind, and yet, looking forward to the next “big adventure.”

As you know, the burden of my heart is to keep churches from dying. Here we are in another church—work which has alout 15 people who are faithful in attendance. When I told them I would come and help them, and be their pastor, they responded by stating that If I hadn’t come, the church would have died.

This church has 5 acres of land, a parsonage and a decent, yet small, church building with no debt. It is in a subdivision, with other subdivisions going up around us. I believe the Lord has brought us to a great opportunity.

WE HIT THE GROUND RUNNING
Just after we arrived, we had a week-long Revival. One mom was saved, and later baptized. Folk came forward for prayer and to say they are behind our ministry here.

Last week we had V.B.S. which involved a lot of work. Our son-in-law, Jody Brownd, did a "chalk talk" on Friday evening, and we had a high of 116 people turn out for this service. Over I ,200 flyers had been handed out by folk for a couple of weeks prior to this. Everyone was thrilled with the attendance. We enjoyed sowing the Word into the hearts of many young children. Eternity will show what has been accomplished for Him.

There are still many neglected boxes in the garage that need unpacking. ‘there’s a lot of work to do, but we are already seeing a change in the hearts of God’s people, and that’s the most important thing. Praise God, I love my work. Please continue to pray for our ministry. I’ve lots more to share with you, but that will be in our next prayer letter.

In Him,

Frank Swart

P.S. I’m sorry I haven’t been able to write my financial report at this time as some of the information I missed is in one of those neglected boxes! I’ll double up next time.
