We praise God for His mighty hand in our lives. We have not understood all that we have been through; but we have never failed to see God’s power of deliverance through each situation. Our lifestyle is very different but blessed. We are realizing that with God’s help and direction we can and will get everything accomplished that he has called us to do.

Deborah has regained a lot of her strength following congestive heart failure in January. She completed 12 weeks of therapy and is happy to be about her work. A few weeks ago she made her first trip to the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma since last fall. She was tired but thrilled to be involved in the work there. Continue to pray for her health. 1

Brandy is doing well. She is now a junior in cosmetology school and keeps us all looking good. Lord willing she will finish her training in November and then prepare for state board. Pray for her on June 14 she is sched­uled to have her wisdom teeth cut out because they are impacted in her jaw bone and pushing her teeth crooked and causing headaches.

I am doing well. In March I passed my treadmill test and my blood sugar and blood pressure are both under control. Deborah and Brandy are starving me to good health.

The Lord’s work is going great. In February we completed the book of Genesis in Choctaw and English paral­lel. The Lord has opened many doors to be a witness both here in Mississippi and in the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Most of you will remember we came to Mississippi in March 1991. God has blessed and birthed 3 churches and raised up 4 preachers among the Mississippi Band of Choctaws. The population here is about 12,000 and is divided into 7 separate reservations. We have continued to work among the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma which has a population of about 90,000. Pray the Lord will continue to use us in both areas.

Please pray for us as we continue the work on the Bible project as well as other language work that is going on now. We are also getting ready for Vacation Bible School and Summer Camp during the months of June and July.

We want to close by thanking you all for your faithfulness in prayers, financial support, special offerings, and labor of love both for us personally and for the mission work among the Mississippi Band of Choctaws and the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Your cards and letters have been a real blessing and encouragement to us. Time and time again God has used you all to meet our needs and lift our spirits.
