Thank you all for your precious gift of prayer and financial support; it truly has prospered in the work the Lord has called us to do. We have been busy these past few months and God has been gracious’ to us in giving us health and energy to accomplish much work.

We had a great summer camp in June and the Lord blessed in the teaching and preaching of His Word. Every year it seems we say this was the best camp ever. This year is no exception. We pray the camp will continue to grow and be used of God.

Bro. Allen Peoples a young preacher in the work here was married in July. He and his wife Nancy are working with us here until the Lord leads them out. Pray for them that the Lord will bless their ministry and that they will be sensitive to his leadership.

During the month of August we had the opportunity to minister on the Bok Chito Reservation. Pray for these people. There is not a sound Baptist church on that reservation yet.

We have also been busy preparing the Choctaw Language material for distribution. We will leave here on August 29 and travel to the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma for several days. During the annual Labor Day festivities we have acquired a booth through which we will be able to distribute Bibles, Hymnals, Tracts, Booklets, Study Guides, and Cassette Tapes in the Choctaw Language. Pray for us as we endeavor to reach out to some 100,000 people in these few days.

Deborah’s health is steadily improving. She is still struggling to stay within her physical limits. Pray for her continued recovery. Brandy is doing well in school and will graduate in December. I am feeling better than I have for some time. We are looking forward to the trip to Oklahoma to be able to minister as a family.
